Port Orford, Oregon

A beautiful website that actually works for your business.

I'm Jaymi. I build modern, easy-to-use websites for small businesses on the Oregon coast. Sites that look great, bring in real customers, and that you can actually update yourself.

If this sounds like you

You're not alone if you've thought any of these.

Most small business owners I work with are stuck in one of these spots. The good news? It's all very fixable, and it doesn't have to take months or cost a fortune.

"My website looks dated and I have no idea how to fix it."
"I want to sell online, but the whole thing feels overwhelming."
"I get customers from word of mouth, but no one finds me on Google."
"I tried building it myself. It kind of works, but I'm stuck."
"My business has changed, and my website doesn't reflect that anymore."
"I just need someone I trust to help me figure this out."
Why this matters

A great website can do a lot of different things for your business.

Every business is different. Some need to bring in new customers. Some need to sell online. Some just need to look the part. Here's what your site might do for you.

Bring people through your door.

Most customers Google a business before they walk in. When someone nearby searches for a coffee shop, a hardware store, or a hair salon, you want to be the first thing they find. A great website fills your shop, restaurant, or tasting room with real foot traffic, day after day, for years to come.

Sell while you sleep.

Whether it's an online store, a booking page, or a simple way to take payments, a great website lets people buy from you when you're not at the shop. Your business keeps earning even when you don't.

Show people who you are.

Your website is often the first impression someone has of your business. A beautiful, easy-to-use site builds trust in seconds and makes people excited to work with you, before you've even met.

Save you hours every week.

The right tools take busywork off your plate: forms that drop straight into your inbox, calendars that book themselves, a real online catalog so customers stop calling to ask "do you have it?"

How I can help

Three ways we can work together.

Most projects mix two or three of these. We'll figure out the right combination for what your business actually needs, and I'll be honest with you about what you don't.

01

Build you a beautiful website.

Whether you need a simple five-page site or something bigger, I'll design and build it from scratch. Modern, fast, easy on phones, and made for your business. You'll be able to update it yourself, and I'll show you how.

  • A custom design (not a template)
  • Looks great on phones, tablets, and laptops
  • Hosting and domain setup
  • Training so you can keep it updated
  • Real support after launch
02

Set up your online store.

If you sell products, I'll build you a real online store on Shopify. Catalog, payments, shipping, the works. I'll connect it to your in-store register if you have one, and to your email list so you can stay in touch with customers.

  • Store designed around your products
  • Payments and shipping set up and tested
  • Product photos, descriptions, categories
  • Connect it to your existing systems
  • Email marketing integration
03

Help people find you on Google.

Having a website isn't enough if nobody can find it. I'll write content that ranks, fix the technical issues holding you back, and put a real plan behind your site so it earns customers on its own, month after month.

  • Keyword research (what people actually search)
  • Content writing that ranks
  • Local SEO (Google Maps, reviews, listings)
  • Fixing the technical stuff
  • A real plan, not a one-off
Some businesses I've helped

A nursery, a massage practice, a community calendar, and my own brand.

Different sizes, different industries, same care. Here's what each one looked like, in plain English.

Plant nursery · Oregon coast

Dragonfly Farm & Nursery

One of the largest plant nurseries on the Oregon coast, and one of the most ambitious projects I've taken on.

Where they started

Dragonfly was struggling to keep their inventory accurate and up to date. They have a spectacular selection of plants, but customers couldn't browse them online. They needed a website and in-store register that worked as one system: easier on staff, less manual entry, and packed with plant information that serves their team every bit as much as their customers.

What we built

A brand-new website with their full plant catalog, a tool that helps customers plan a garden by zip code, and a library of articles that teach people what to plant and when. The website talks to their in-store register, so inventory stays in sync.

What changed

Customers can now browse the entire nursery online before they visit. Staff use the same website to look up plants and answer customer questions on the spot. Google traffic from the new content is climbing every month, and the day-to-day work that used to eat hours is now far easier.

Massage therapist · Port Orford

Rusty Hinges Massage Therapy

A one-person massage practice that needed a clean, professional online home.

Where they started

Nick is a licensed massage therapist with a busy local practice, but his old website didn't reflect the quality of his work. Locals couldn't easily find his services, prices, or how to book a session.

What we built

A simple, professional website with everything a potential client needs: services, prices, real testimonials, and a phone number that's always one tap away. The site loads in under a second.

What changed

When someone searches for a massage therapist in Port Orford, Nick shows up. The new site finally feels like the real him, and clients have told him so.

Personal project · Port Orford

Port Orford Events

A non-Facebook way to find out what's happening in town. A side project I built for myself, and anyone else who feels the same way.

Where I started

Like a lot of locals, I don't really want to be on Facebook just to keep up with what's happening around town. But that's where most local events live. I wanted a calm, social-media-free place to see what was on this weekend, and there wasn't one.

What I built

A free, fast events calendar where anyone in town can submit an event through a simple form. A behind-the-scenes system keeps spam out automatically, so I'm not buried in moderation. Free for anyone to use.

What changed

It exists. There's now a calm, social-media-free place to see what's happening around town, for anyone who'd rather not be on Facebook. Whether the whole town adopts it or just a handful of like-minded locals do, the thing is built and free for whoever wants it.

Online store · My own brand

Better With Birds

My own brand. Proof that I eat my own cooking.

Where I started

I wanted to build an online business around something I love: wildlife photography, fabric design, and home goods inspired by the natural world.

What I built

A full online store on Shopify with hundreds of products, automated email marketing, an active Pinterest funnel that brings in steady traffic, and content that ranks on Google. I run every part of it myself.

What I learned

Running a small online business is its own thing. I know what actually moves the needle for a small ecommerce shop, not just the theory. Whatever you're trying to do, I've probably tried it on my own store first.

Built locally, by hand.

I live in Port Orford, just a few blocks from the harbor. I'm a wildlife photographer turned small-business owner turned web designer, which means I think about your website the same way I think about my own: as a tool that should actually pay for itself. You'll work directly with me. No project managers, no offshore teams, no agency markup. Just one person who genuinely cares about your business.

Let's chat

Curious if we're a fit?

Tell me a little about your business: what you do, what you're trying to fix, and what you're up against. The first conversation is free and low-pressure. I'll tell you honestly if I'm the right person to help, and if I'm not, I'll point you toward someone who is.
